01Who we are
Al-Huda Online Academy (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an international online academy that teaches live online Quran classes, online tuition for Class 0 to 12 and a Spoken English course. Our website is alhudaquranonline.com. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
02Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details: name, email address, WhatsApp / phone number and country.
- Student details: student name, age or class, program, preferred days and times, and teacher preference.
- Messages you send us through forms, WhatsApp or email.
- Payment confirmations (we do not store full card or bank account numbers).
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical data such as browser type, device, pages visited and approximate location (country or city level).
- Cookies and similar technologies — see Cookies below and our Cookie Policy.
03How we use your information
- To reply to your questions and book free trial classes.
- To arrange classes, match a teacher and set timings in your time zone.
- To share progress reports and important updates with parents.
- To manage fees, payments and records.
- To keep our website and classes safe, and to improve our service.
- To show advertising on our website (see Advertising).
We use your information only for these purposes. We rely on your consent, on the need to provide the classes you asked for, and on our legitimate interest in running and improving the academy.
04Children's privacy
Many of our students are children. Information about a child is provided by a parent or guardian, who books the classes and stays in contact with us. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through our website forms.
If you believe a child has sent us personal information without a parent's knowledge, please contact us and we will delete it.
05Online classes and recordings
Classes take place live on Zoom or Google Meet. We do not record classes unless the parent or adult student agrees first — for example, to review a lesson. Parents are always welcome to sit with their child during class. Zoom and Google Meet process data under their own privacy policies.
06Cookies and similar technologies
Our website uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — to make the site work, remember your preferences, understand how visitors use the site and show advertising. You can control cookies in your browser settings and through the consent message shown on our site. Full details are in our Cookie Policy.
07Advertising and Google AdSense
We may show advertisements on our website through Google AdSense, a service of Google LLC.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to our website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info or, in Europe, www.youronlinechoices.eu.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalised ads and non-essential cookies are used. Learn more in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
08Analytics
We may use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website (for example, which pages are visited most). This information is collected in an aggregated form and does not identify you personally. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
09How we share information
We never sell your personal information. We share it only when needed:
- With the teacher assigned to the student, so they can teach the classes.
- With service providers who help us run the academy (for example, website hosting, email, video-class platforms and payment providers), under confidentiality.
- With advertising and analytics partners as described above, through cookies.
- When required by law, or to protect the safety of our students and staff.
10How we protect your data
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, such as secure (HTTPS) connections, limited staff access and private class links. No method of sending data over the Internet is completely secure, but we work hard to keep your information safe.
11How long we keep data
We keep student and contact information while classes continue and for up to 3 years after the last class, for records and legal reasons. Enquiries that do not lead to classes are deleted within 12 months. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.
12Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe, the UK GDPR, or privacy laws in the United States and other countries), you may have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or update your information.
- Ask us to delete your information.
- Withdraw consent or object to certain uses, including personalised advertising.
- Complain to your local data protection authority.
To use any of these rights, contact us at info@alhudaquranonline.com. We reply within 30 days.

Because we teach students in more than 20 countries, your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including Pakistan and the countries where our service providers operate. We take care that your information stays protected wherever it is processed.

Our website may contain links to other websites, including WhatsApp, social media pages and advertisers. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites, so please read their privacy policies.
